The broadcaster ARD announced this Tuesday the date on which it will reveal the candidates. It isn’t known yet how many will be chosen, but the website ESC Kompakt reports that at least nine acts are selected.
There is also a confirmed wildcard for the TikTok contest… and the winner will not be known on January 27th. This is because the public voting in that contest will take place from January 27th to February 3rd and the winner will be announced on February 4th at 18h00 (CET).
