Image credits: Jordy Brada (MoroccanOil) The selection process of the Azerbaijan’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 is underway.
According to the website 12xal, Azeri public broadcaster İctimai has opened the application window. The singers and/or songwriters who are interested to compete can send their songs, demos or performances to [email protected] until December 31st.
In addition to the songs, contestants must send a short biographical text. As for the songs, they have to be able to comply with the ESC rules. It has been a few years since İctimai had launched an open submission process for the performers: until 2022 it opted to do so only for the song.
