Image: unavocepersanmarino.com The «Big» artists for Una Voce per San Marino 2024 were revealed this Monday – they are automatically qualified for the final of San Marino’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
The announcement took place during a press conference by the broadcaster SMRTV in Milan. Three participations stand out: Loredana Bertè, who recently participated in the Sanremo Festival and was in the running to represent Italy; Jalisse, who in 1997 brought Italy to fourth place in the ESC; and Dana Gillespie, whose song The Last Polar Bear won the San Marino Sessions and was composed with the help of artificial intelligence. There were three other songs competing in the San Marino Sessions, all written with AI support.
The nine «Big» artists will be joined by seven other finalists qualified from the semi-finals, which will be broadcast until Friday, February 23rd. The final will take place on February 24th.
