New details about the Eurovision Village in Liverpool have been announced. The city estimates that around 15,000 people will attend the venue every night during the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 in May.
According to the newspaper Liverpool Echo, this is predicted by Culture Liverpool. In a meeting of the city council held this week, it also clarified that in addition to the Eurovision Village, events are planned for several places across the city.
The Eurovision Village will be installed on Pier Head from May 1 to May 20, with a capacity of up to 25,000 people. It can stage live performances and dancers from 09h00 to 02h00.
