Ukraine may elect its representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 later this year: on December 17, throught the Vidbir final that will be held at the Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station in Kyiv.

According to the website EurovisionFun.com, the broadcaster UA:PBC has launched an artistic competition for its national final, in which it points December 17 as the “possible broadcast date of the national final”.

The document states that the preparatory work will take place from December 11 to 13, with the rehearsals scheduled for December 14 to 16. The live final with live audience will take place at the Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station in Kyiv. Then, on December 18 and 19, the equipment will be dismantled.

Dmytro Shurov will be the musical producer of Vidbir 2023. The professional jury will be chosen by the public vote with up to three juries working in the music industry.
