Tõnis Niinemets and Grete Kuld will be the hosts of the Eesti Laul 2023. This is Estonia’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) and is scheduled for January and February.
This will be the second time that Tõnis Niinemets and Grete Kuld host the show together, after doing so in 2021. The format comprises two semifinals and the final.
There will be 20 competing songs in the Eesti Laul 2023, ten per semifinal. In each semifinal, five songs will get qualified for the grand final.
The two semifinals of the Eesti Laul will be on January 12 and 14 at the Viimsi Artium in Viimsi, while the grand final will be held at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn on February 11.
