Image credits: Lauris Viksne/LTV Sudden Lights were the winners of Supernova 2023 with the song Aijã and will represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
The final of the Latvian selection took place this Saturday. The ten finalists fought for the victory, but they weren’t the only ones to perform: Duncan Laurence sang the song with which he won the ESC 2019, Arcade, and the song Electric Life. The guests Elīza Legzdiņa and Beanie (from Rudimental) also took the stage.
At the end of the show, the final standings was announced and Sudden Lights were the winners with the song Aijã to defend Latvia at ESC 2023 in Liverpool.
