Image credits: EBU Ruth Lorenzo is one of the hosts of the Benidorm Fest 2024. The event selects Spain’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) and will have two semifinals, in addition to the grand final.
The RTVE broadcaster announced the trio of presenters on Tuesday at a press conference. Ruth Lorenzo, who represented the country in 2014, will host the shows alongside Marc Calderó and Ana Prada, who will be in the green room.
Benidorm Fest will take place on January 30, February 1, and February 3 at the Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm. About three weeks before the event, digital renders of the stage were also revealed.
The stage has an area of 581 square meters and an oval shape, with a central area including a circular giant screen on the floor and two side tunnels connecting to the rear of the stage. There is also a high-resolution LED screen in the center, also oval. The green room is located at the other end of the venue, with an area of 475 square meters.
