The semi-final allocation draw of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 is set to be this Tuesday in Malmö, and the pots are already known.

As usual, this draw will distribute the semifinalist countries across each of the semifinals and, randomly, will determine which part each country will perform in. It will also be established which direct finalists (Big 5 and host Sweden) will vote in each semifinal.

The 31 semifinalist countries were divided into five pots (four with six countries and one with seven countries). The division was based on historical voting patterns to reduce the possibilities of bloc voting.

The allocation draw is at 19:00 PM (CET time) this Tuesday, January 30, in Malmö, hosted by Pernilla Månsson Colt and Farah Abadi. It also includes the ceremony of passing the insignia from the host city, Liverpool, to Malmö.
