A month and a half after winning Benidorm Fest, the revamped version of Spain’s song for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 has been released.

Melody performs Esa diva, which retains the lyrics in Spanish but has undergone several changes, becoming more intimate and personal at the beginning. The backing vocals have been adjusted, and there is a more electronic dancebreak at the end. The song was written by the singer herself, together with Alberto Lorite.

This new version was produced by Eighty4, Rick Parkhouse, and George Tizzard at Red Triangle Records. The vocals were recorded in late February in the UK.

The official music video was also released, with aesthetic inspiration drawn from American movie divas of the 1960s and 1970s. You can watch and listen to it below.
