

VÆB will represent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 with the song RÓA – after winning the Söngvakeppnin.
There were six participants who reached this final, held at the RVK studios in Reykjavik. Águst was the first on stage, with the performance order concluding with Stebbi Jak.
The show was further brightened by guest performances from Käärija and Hooja, who brought a festive and lively atmosphere to their performance.
The results were determined by an international jury and the public, each with a weight of 50%. Both the jury and the public preferred VÆB, who finished at the top of both votes and won 167 points. They will represent Iceland at ESC 2025 in Basel.
