The first songs competing for Eurosong 2025, Ireland’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), have started to be released.

All the songs will be launched throughout this week on The Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1. Yesterday, Bobbi Arlo was announced, and her song Powerplay was released. Today, Reylta was revealed as a participant with the song Fire.

As has been the case for several years, Eurosong will take place as part of the Late Late Show, on February 7.

After Bambie Thug’s sixth-place finish last year, Ireland is aiming to continue its streak of good results and prove that it wasn’t a one-time achievement. The country shares the record for most wins in ESC history with Sweden, both with seven victories.
