The Sanremo Festival 2025 continued on Thursday with its third night. The winner will have the opportunity to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
It was the second performance for 14 of the 29 contestants – those who had not performed the night before. The results of the night were determined by the radio jury and public televote.
Only the top five were revealed, without any details of the scores. Among the top five were veteran Brunori Sas, 2017 winner Francesco Gabbani, and multiple-time participant Irama. Also in the top five were Coma_Cose and Olly, who is considered a strong contender to win.
The night also included the final of the Nuove Proposte category, where Settembre was the big winner. You can read more about it in this article.
In addition to the contestants, several guests graced the stage, with a special highlight being the legendary Duran Duran… accompanied by Victoria de Angelis of Måneskin on bass.
