According to the website HER&NU, the lead singer of A Friend in London is expected to be one of the eight finalists in the Danish competition. Broadcaster DR has not commented on the speculation and has scheduled the announcement of participants and their songs for February 6.
However, the person in charge of DMGP has confirmed that among the eight selected finalists, one has previously represented Denmark at Eurovision.
A Friend in London represented Denmark at ESC 2011, with Tim Schou as the lead vocalist. At the time, the group secured fifth place with 134 points, Denmark’s second-best result since 2001, following their victory in 2013.
