Photo source: Screen capture HRT The Dora 2025, Croatia’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025, began this Thursday, with eight contestants advancing to the grand final.
A total of 12 performers took the stage at the Marino Cvetković Sports Hall in Opatija in the first semi-final. Nina Badrić, who represented Croatia at ESC 2012 and finished 12th in the second semi-final, also performed as an interval act.
The results were determined by a jury and the public, each with a 50% weight. At the end of the show, the eight finalists were announced, although the detailed results were not revealed.
The second semi-final of Dora will take place tomorrow, February 28, selecting another eight participants for the final on Sunday, March 2.
