Next week, the songs for Eurosong 2025 – Ireland’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) – will begin to be released.
The release of the six songs will take place during The RayD’Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1, broadcast between 15h00 and 16h30 (local time; 16h00-17h30 CET), starting on January 20. No further details are known, according to Éirevision.
As has been the case since 2009, Eurosong will be held as part of The Late Late Show program. The event will take place on February 7.
Last year, Ireland achieved its best result since 2000, with Bambie Thug’s sixth-place finish with the song Doomsday Blue.
