Picture source: Screen capture RAI The first winner of the Sanremo Festival 2025 has been announced. This Thursday, Settembre claimed victory in the «Nuove Proposte» category.
The final for the younger and debuting artists took place during the third night of the Italian festival. The contestants were Alex Wyse and Settembre, who performed after the Campioni.
The results were determined by a combination of votes from the press room (33%), the radio jury (33%), and the public (34%).
Settembre won with the song Vertebre, which also earned two awards: the Mia Martini Critics’ Award and the Lucio Dalla Press Room Award.
The «Nuove Proposte» section has no impact on the outcome of the Campioni category, whose results will be determined on Saturday during the fifth and final night of the festival.
