As is customary for a few years, the BBC has opted for an internal selection. Although the girl band has not been officially confirmed yet, TV programming schedules in the UK show a show called The Big Eurovision Party scheduled for March 7.
The description in RadioTimes and TV Guide reads: “At the Ziggo Dome stadium in Amsterdam, Eurovision legends come together to celebrate the rich musical legacy of the iconic event in this celebration of music, energy and excitement hosted by Edsilia Rombley and Drag Race UK star Tia Kofi”.
Also mentioned are the artists who will perform, such as Lreen, Nemo (winner of ESC 2024), Johnny Logan, Baby Lasagna, Bambie Thug, Katrina from Katrina & The Waves. The note concludes with a «leak»: “Country girl band Remember Monday will represent the United Kingdom at St. Jakobshalle Basel, Switzerland, in May”.
There has been no official confirmation from the BBC yet, nor has the title of Remember Monday’s potential song been revealed. The band consists of Charlotte Steele, Holly-Anne Hull, and Lauren Byrne.
