There’s been a withdrawal from Festivali i Këngës 63. Olsi Bylyku has opted out of the competition, whose winner will represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025.
The artist was set to compete with the song Tupanët, but had to withdraw citing personal reasons, according to broadcaster RTSH. In line with the rules, Olsi Bylyku has been replaced.
Taking his place is Klea Dina, with the song Dashuri ndiej, which was the highest-ranked by the evaluation committee among the remaining entries after the 30 contestants were selected.
The exact dates and format of Festivali i Këngës 63 have yet to be announced, but it is expected to take place in mid-December, as has been the tradition for many years.
