Picture credits: © Corinne Cumming / EBU The date for Moldova’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 has been set. The Etapa Națională will take place on February 22.
Broadcaster TRM announced the date this week. Prior to the final, live auditions will be held on January 18, featuring all candidates reviewed by the selection committee.
From this stage, ten finalists will be chosen. In the final, the results will be determined by a 50/50 split between the public vote and a jury panel.
The format remains similar to recent years. In 2024, Moldova was represented by Natalia Barbu with the song In the Middle, which, for the first time since 2019, failed to qualify for the grand final.
