Moldova will continue competing at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 2025 and has announced its selection process.
According to broadcaster TRM, a national selection will be held, with the submission window opening soon. For the past two years, the Etapa națională has been the method for choosing Moldova’s representative.
The last fully internal selection occurred in 2021 when Natalia Gordienko was reselected after her initial pick for the canceled ESC 2020 due to the pandemic.
This year, Moldova did not qualify for the final. Natalia Barbu, returning to the ESC 17 years later, placed 13th in her semifinal with the song In the Middle.
