Spain has made its choice, and Melody will defend the country at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 with the song Esa diva. The final of the Benidorm Fest took place this Saturday.
Before the competition performances, Nebulossa, last year’s winners with the song Zorra, took the stage. The contestants then began, with Daniela Blasco opening the order of performances and Melody closing it.
Before the results were revealed, there were two special performances: the band Amaral and Rigoberta Bandini, who participated in Benidorm Fest in 2022.
The jury results, making up 50% of the total, were the first to be announced, with J Kbello leading with 74 points. Then, the public votes (50%) were revealed, with Melody receiving 80 points.
In the combination of votes, Melody won with the song Esa diva, achieving a total of 150 points. She will now represent Spain in May in Basel.
