Picture credits: © Julia Marie Naglestad/NRK The competing songs at the Melodi Grand Prix 2025 have been officially released. With a renewed format, the event selects Norway’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
There are nine participants, including the Boobysocks, who won the ESC in 1985, and Wig Wam, who represented Norway in 2005 and achieved a respectable top ten finish.
This year, Melodi Grand Prix will again have only one final, something that hasn’t happened since 2019. It will take place on February 15 at the Oslo Spektrum, presented by Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom, and Markus Neby.
