Photo credits: © Stina Stjernkvist / SVT Tonight, the fifth and final heat of Melodifestivalen 2025 took place. From this show, four more finalists were selected for Sweden’s Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) selection: Saga Ludvigsson, Scarlet, Dolly Style, and Meira Omar.
The tour across Sweden continued, with this stop at the Husqvarna Garden in Jönköping. Six contestants performed for the first time in this edition, in a running order that began with Avingarna and ended with the duo Scarlet. Two special guests also took the stage: Ronny and Ragge.
The voting, which was 100% public, was divided into two stages. In the first round, xxxx was chosen as the winner of the heats, securing their place in the final.
The remaining five contestants went to a second round of voting, in which Scarlet secured their place in the final. Meanwhile, Arwin earned a spot in the «Final Qual».
The repescage round decided the last two qualifiers: Dolly Style, who was the most-voted among the third-place finishers across all heats; and Meira Omar, who received the highest number of votes in the «Final Qual».
