Justyna Steczkowska is back at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) for Poland in 2025, 30 years after her first participation. This Friday, she won the Wielki Finał Polskich Kwalifikacji with the song Gaja.

The Polish contest had 11 competitors, with Chrust opening the performance order. The last to perform was Dominik Dudek. In addition to the competitors, there was a guest performance by Baby Lasagna, who helped Croatia finish in second place at last year’s ESC.

The results were determined solely by the public vote, and Justyna Steczkowska’s victory was clear, with 39.32% of the votes. In second place were Swada & Niczos with 23.69%, and Dominik Dudek rounded off the podium with 13.94%.

In 1995, Justyna Steczkowska placed 18th with the song Sama. Now, she returns to the contest with Gaja, bringing the Polish language back to the ESC stage for the first time since 2019.
