Image credits: BBC / James Stack This week, the allocation draws of the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 will take place, and it will be hosted by Jennifer Bosshard and Jan van Ditzhuijzen.
The information was reported by the newspaper Blick. The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 28, starting at 12h30 AM (CET time), and it will take place in Basel, where both presenters are from.
In addition to determining which semi-final each participating country will compete in and where the automatic finalists (the Big 5 and host country Switzerland) will vote, the event will also feature the transfer of the host city insignia between Malmö and Basel.
Jennifer Bosshard revealed that this year’s ceremony will be slightly different from previous editions. The production will be handled by Multimedia Production students from the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden… where Jan van Ditzhuijzen studied.
