Here is the first song chosen for Eurovision 2025! NeonoeN will represent Montenegro with ‘Clickbait’

The selections for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 have started. Montenegro will return to the competition, represented by NeonoeN, who won the Montesong this Wednesday with the song Clickbait.

The Montenegrin competition took place this Wednesday at the Voco Sports Hall in Podgorica, hosted by Marko Todorović and Vladana Vučinić. There were 16 participants: Anastasija Koprolčec was the first to perform, while Milena Vučić was the last on stage.

Four guests also performed, all of whom were former ESC participants: Danijel Popović (Yugoslavia, 1983); Emmelie de Forest (Denmark, 2013; winner); Elena Risteka (North Macedonia, 2006); and Sergej Ćetković (Montenegro, 2014).

After the performances, the results were announced, starting with 50 percent of the professional jury, which was composed of former ESC participants: Dado Topić, Danijel Popović, Emmelie de Forest, Elena Risteka, Hari Mata Hari, Nuša Derenda, and Tijana Bogićević.

With 59 points, Nina Žižić was the highest-rated by the jury, and the points were then converted to the 12/10/8-1 scale, also used in the public vote… which preferred the Baryak, awarding them 12 points.

However, in the overall tally, NeonoeN were the big winners with the song Clickbait, scoring 20 points: just one more than Nina Žižić, who finished in second. The Baryak placed third with 15 points.
