The finalists of the Supernova 2025, Latvia’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), have been decided. The selection began this Saturday with the semi-final.
There were 19 participants – originally there were 20, but Grēta withdrew just days before the event due to health issues. The format remained unchanged, and the contestants performed on stage in Riga.
Marta was the first to perform, while the experienced Markus Riva closed the show. The results were determined equally by the jury and public votes.
In the end, the ten finalists were revealed, though detailed results were not disclosed. Citi Zēni, who represented the country in 2022, are among the finalists. The final will take place next Saturday, February 8th.
