Picture credits: © ERT The hosts for Ethnikós Telikós 2025, Greece’s new selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), have been revealed.
The show will be presented by two artists who have previously competed in the international contest: Helena Paparizou and Sakis Rouvas.
In 2004, Sakis Rouvas competed for the first time with the song Shake it and finished in third place. He returned in 2009 to place seventh with This Is Our Night.
Helena Paparizou had even more success. She participated in the ESC in 2005 – exactly 20 years ago – and gave Greece its only victory to date by performing My Number One.
Ethnikós Telikós will feature 12 contestants and is scheduled for January 30 at the Christmas Theatre in Galatsi. The results will be determined by the public (50%), a Greek jury (25%), and an international jury (25%).
