The dress rehearsal for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 took place this afternoon, and the press poll selected France as the winner.

Accredited members of the press were invited to vote for their top five on a 12, 10, 8, 6, and 4 points scale, in an initiative by the website escxtra.com. A total of 84 responses were recorded.

France was, by far, the most voted: Louane and the song maman received 430 points, compared to 346 points for Finland’s representative, Erika Vikman, who came second in the poll with the song Ich Komme. The podium was completed by Sweden (KAJ, Bara bada bastu) with 326 points.

There is a significant points gap between fifth-placed Switzerland (260 points) and sixth-placed Austria (184 points), with 11 countries surpassing the 100-point mark. The last place, according to the press, should go to Ukraine, with Ziferblat and the song Bird of Pray receiving only 16 points.
