Picture source: © UA:PBC The first nine finalists of Vidbir 2025, Ukraine’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), have been chosen.
The broadcaster UA:PBC selected these nine contestants from a list of 20 announced last week. The titles of the songs were also revealed, but they have not been released yet.
Now, the remaining candidates from the previously announced longlist will enter an online voting phase via the Diia app. The tenth finalist will be determined through this voting, and the announcement will be made on January 17.
Vidbir 2025 will take place on February 8. The results will be determined by a combination of professional jury voting and public voting, each accounting for 50 percent. The jurors will be chosen through an online vote by the public.
