

Söngvakeppnin 2025, Iceland’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), kicked off this Saturday, and the first three finalists have been determined.
Five contestants took the stage at the RVK studios in Reykjavík, with Stebbi JAK opening the show and VÆB closing the running order.
The results were decided solely by the public vote. Only the qualifiers for the final were announced, with no detailed results disclosed.
The top three advanced to the grand final: Águst, Stebbi JAK, and VÆB. BIRGO and BIA were eliminated and will not continue in the race to represent Iceland at ESC 2025.
