The first eight finalists of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) 2025 have been revealed. The competition selects Malta’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
The first semi-final took place this Tuesday at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali, with 12 contestants.
Mark Anthony Bartolo was the first to perform, with Kurt Calleja being the last to take the stage. There were also several guest performances, such as Mihai (representative of Romania at ESC 2006)… as well as ADDONXS, who debuted the song with which they will represent the Czechia this year: Kiss Kiss Goodbye.
The results were decided by both the public and the jury, but only the qualified finalists were revealed, not the exact rankings. These eight finalists will be joined by another eight from the second semifinal, scheduled for Thursday, February 6. The final will take place on February 8.
