Finland leads press and audience polls for Eurovision 2025 semi-final 2

Finland received the most votes in press and public polls following Wednesday’s rehearsals for semi-final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025.

After the afternoon dress rehearsal, the website escxtra.com invited accredited press members to choose their top three favourites, collecting 81 responses and 243 votes. Finland won by a significant margin, with 38 votes for the song Ich komme by Erika Vikman. Luxembourg came second with 29 votes.

Later in the evening, after the Evening Preview Show, a poll was conducted among spectators at the St. Jakobshalle by escxtra.com, Eurovoix, ESC Insight, The Euro Trip, 12 Points From America, and That Eurovision Site.

Finland also topped that poll, albeit by a narrow margin: 336 votes, compared to Austria’s 333. According to the audience, Czechia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Montenegro would not qualify, as they fell outside the top ten of this poll.
