The finalists of the San Marino Song Contest 2025, San Marino’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), have already been revealed. And there are some surprises.
Gabry Ponte is one of the contenders with the song Tutta l’Italia, which recently caused a stir as the official song of the Sanremo Festival. Besa, Albania’s representative in 2024, and Teslenko, who was initially in the running in the Ukrainian selection, are also among the finalists.
A total of 20 finalists will compete to represent San Marino. The final will take place on March 8 at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana. The results will be decided by a jury chaired by Luca De Gennaro, which also includes DG Roberto Sergio, Ema Stokholma, Federica Gentile, and Mario Andrea Ettore.
But that’s not all: the artistic director, Massimo Bonelli, may award 10 points to the song he considers most suitable for the ESC, which could be decisive for the final ranking.
