On Saturday, the third semifinal took place, where the 30 contestants returned to the stage of the Palace of Congresses in Tirana – not with their participating songs, but performing songs with some history during the «nostalgia night».
In the end, the 15 finalists were announced: eight from the first semifinal and seven from the second semifinal. The grand final will be tomorrow, December 22.
The televote is already underway, and, together with the jury’s vote, it will decide Albania’s representative for ESC 2025 in a separate category. The jury alone will decide the top three places of Festivali i Këngës 63 and the winners of the Best Lyrics and Critics’ Awards. Thus, the winner of the competition may not be the one chosen to represent Albania at ESC 2025.
