Picture credits: © Corinne Cumming / EBU The dates for Festivali i Këngës 63 have been leaked. The competition to select Albania’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 is scheduled to take place from December 19 to 22.
The news was shared by the Eurovision Albania Instagram profile. Before the event, on December 6, 40-second snippets of all the participating songs will be released.
The exact format of Festivali i Këngës 63 has not yet been disclosed by broadcaster RTSH. However, in recent years, the festival has featured semifinals and a final spread across four nights (one gala per day).
The dates December 19 to 22 were also used in 2022 and 2023, as well as in 2019. Albania’s capital, Tirana, has hosted Festivali i Këngës consecutively for several years.
