Picture: © EBU This Tuesday, the composition of each semi-final for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 will be determined during the allocation draw.
There are 31 countries that will need to compete in one of the semi-finals on May 13 and 15 to secure a spot in the grand final scheduled for May 19. This draw will decide the distribution of these countries.
It will also be determined in which semi-final each of the six countries directly qualified for the final (host country Switzerland and the Big 5: Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom) will vote.
Scheduled for 12h30 (CET time), the event will also include the handover of the host city insignia between Malmö and Basel.
