Two more finalists have been chosen in Sweden’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025. Erik Segerstedt and Klara Hammarström have secured spots in the Melodifestivalen grand final.
The second heat took place this Saturday at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, featuring six contestants. Nomi Tales opened the show, while Kaliffa performed last. Marcus & Martinus, last year’s winners, also performed as guests.
There were two voting rounds, with the public exclusively deciding the results. In the first round, the winner and first finalist of the night was determined: Erik Segerstedt.
The remaining five contestants advanced to a second voting round, where Klara Hammarström received the highest score, earning a place in the final. Kaliffa followed and will compete in the «Final Qual», the second-chance round held after the fifth heat.
