Detailed results of Melodifestivalen 2025 revealed… and the KAJ’s victory in the televote was overwhelming

About a week after the final, the detailed results of Melodifestivalen 2025 were revealed. The winners were KAJ, who will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).

The votes for each song throughout the heats, «Final qual», and the final have now been disclosed. The most significant numbers – the battle for victory in the final – shows that KAJ’s televote was overwhelming.

The trio, who competed with the song Bara bada bastu, received 4,305,774 votes from the public, earning 90 points. In second place was Måns Zelmerlöw, with over one million fewer votes, receiving 3,278,385 votes (which earned him 81 points).

It is important to note that more votes did not always equate to more points, as the points were awarded on a scale of 12/10/8-1 points according to age groups (3-9 years, 10-15 years, 16-29 years, 30-44 years, 45-59 years, 60-74 years, and over 75 years).
