Photo credits: © EBU / Sarah Louise Bennett On Saturday, the audition round for Etapa Națională 2025 will take place, and the candidates to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) are now known.
The broadcaster TRM has 30 songs from 29 performers: Sasha Bognibov is competing with two songs, unlike all other contestants.
The auditions will take place on January 18 at TRM’s studios, with a jury selecting the ten finalists for the televised final, scheduled for February 22.
Regardless of the results, there is already one certainty: Moldova will have a new representative, as for the first time since 2019, the national selection does not feature any artist who has previously competed in the ESC for the country.
