Sissal will represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 with the song Hallucination. This Saturday, they won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.
The Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning hosted the unique show for the Danish selection, with eight competitors: MARIYA was the first to perform, while Andreas Kruse was the last to take the stage.
Two former DMGP winners also performed as guests: Birthe Kjær (1989) and Saba, who triumphed last year.
The results were determined with a 50/50 split between a jury and the public. In the first round, Adel the Second, Sissal, and Tim Schou advanced to the super final.
There, the jury favored Sissal, awarding 20 points, while the public gave higher points to Tim Schou. In the overall tally, the final victory went to Sissal and the song Hallucination, with 38 points, thus representing Denmark in Basel.
