After 40 years, Bobbysocks could be in the running to represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025.
On the eve of the announcement of the participants for Melodi Grand Prix, the publication Se og Hør reports that the duo is among the candidates who will be revealed.
In 1985, Bobbysocks secured Norway’s first ESC victory with the song La det swinge. Although they disbanded in 1988, they reunited several times, including for commemorative events marking ESC milestones.
Bobbysocks consists of Elisabeth Andreassen and Hanne Krogh, who have built a successful career, especially in Scandinavia, since their formation in 1983.
The participants in Melodi Grand Prix will be revealed this Thursday at 12h00 (CET time) during a press conference. The competition will feature ten contestants, with the final scheduled for February 15 at the Oslo Spektrum.
