Azerbaijan’s representative at Eurovision 2025 to be revealed in February

It won’t be long before the representative of Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 is revealed. The announcement is expected for the beginning of February.

The country’s head of delegation, Nurlana Jafarova, wrote on social media that the plan is to reveal the performer “within the first ten days of February”. The song is also expected to be released later in the same month.

İctimai TV once again held an internal selection. A total of 154 applications were submitted, which were reviewed by a panel of judges responsible for the final decision.

Typically, Azerbaijan’s representative has been announced in March, making this one of the very rare exceptions since the country’s debut in the competition in 2008.
