It seems that this week, the representative for Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 will be revealed.

According to the newspaper Kleine Zeitung, the announcement will be made by the broadcaster ORF on January 30, Thursday. However, the song itself is expected to be released in March, debuting on the radio.

It is speculated that the decision is between seven songs, and potential candidates include Philip Piller and Dominic Muhrer – who represented Austria in 2015 as the duo The Makemakes.

As in recent years, the selection process is internal, following a method similar to that of 2024, where the choice was made by a panel of 25 professional jurors and six members of Eurovision fan clubs.
