This Tuesday, the final version of Luxembourg’s song for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025, performed by Laura Thorn, was released.

This revamped version of La Poupée monte le son was presented on the exact 60th anniversary of Luxembourg’s victory at ESC 1965 with the song Poupée de cire, Poupée de son by France Gall.

The lyrics were written by Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, with Christophe Houssin joining them for the composition. Poupée de cire, Poupée de son actually served as inspiration for Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, stemming from the question: “What would Poupée (the doll) say in 2025?”.

In addition to the final version of the song, the instrumental version, without any vocals, was also made available. You can listen to the releases below.
