Andria Putkaradze was the winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) 2024 this Saturday, with the song To My Mom.
The Georgian representative scored 239 points, 26 more than Portugal’s Victoria Nicole, who finished in second place. The young Georgian gave a brief interview to the official YouTube channel of the contest after the show, saying: “I feel so good, I’m very happy. It’s my dream!”.
Andria then expressed his gratitude: “To my composer, Giorgi Kukhianidze, and the whole Junior Eurovision, and my mom too”.
On the message of his song, the singer commented: “My song is about all the moms. Mom, I love you!”.
