Photo: Screen capture SMRTV San Marino will compete in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 with Gabry Ponte and the song Tutta l’Italia, which won tonight’s San Marino Song Contest.
The micro-state’s national selection had a new name but a similar format, culminating in tonight’s final after several rounds of auditions and semi-finals.
There were 20 finalists who took the stage at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana. Among them were Besa (representing Albania in 2024), Gabry Ponte with Tutta l’Italia, which became a hit as the official song of the 2025 Sanremo Festival, and Teslenko, who initially competed in the Ukrainian selection but later withdrew.
In addition to the contestants, there were special guest performances. Al Bano, who performed and received the Career Award; Cristiano Malgioglio, La Rappresentante di Lista, and Senhit (who represented San Marino in 2021).
The results were entirely decided by a professional jury, which awarded the victory to Gabry Ponte and the song Tutta l’Italia to represent San Marino in Basel next May.
